The Digital Strategy Group works across Citi businesses to help drive Citi’s digital transformation. Within that team, Tania assumes responsibility for the articulation and implementation of Citi’s Vision for Digital. She also helps promote Citi’s participation and partnership with fintech communities and she drives programmes in support of Citi’s digital money agenda. This has resulted in Citi’s Digital Money Index and Research and the Digital Money Symposium – all done in partnership with Imperial College London. Tania is also on the Management Committee of Imperial’s Centre for Global Finance and Technology which was launched in 2016 and for which Citi is the founding partner.
Prior to her current role, Tania was Marketing Head for EMEA’s Transaction Services Business within Citi and prior to that, the Global Head of Securities and Fund Services Marketing – where she spent five years in New York. These positions saw Tania assume overall responsibility for developing integrated marketing strategies that supported revenue generation, increased customer retention and an enhanced image as an industry leader in financial information and transaction services. Since joining Citi in 2000, key initiatives in which Tania has been involved are the definition and execution of cohesive marketing strategies, Citi’s acquisitions of Forum Financial Group, Unisen and BISYS, the Fair & Clear association in Europe and the project management of our participation at Sibos for three consecutive years– a conference that helped generate $15mm of new deals in 2004.
Before joining Citi, Tania was a Business Development Manager at Deloitte & Touche, where she worked with Partners to help secure new retained relationships for the Middle Market Group. She has also worked at Fidelity and AIA Worldwide, a high growth branding agency.
Tania is an alumnus of Citi’s Developing Talent Program, has a degree from Oxford Brookes University and was educated in East Sussex, England.
She is married with two children and benefits from Citi’s flexible working policy by currently working three days a week.
