Audiences told us that watching Planet Earth II made them feel profound emotions: awe, amazement, fascination.

So we ran a research project, in association with an expert in environmental psychology, to measure what this ‘real happiness’ that audiences were feeling looked like. The findings contributed to a global campaign for BBC Earth, positioning it as the home of Real Happiness.
