Duchenne is a rare muscle-wasting disease that only affects males. To help people understand it and develop warm fundraising leads, we created an emotional short-cut into the disease, presenting the children living with it as The World’s Strongest Boys. We ditched charity conventions and started behaving like a sports brand, using sports influencers, creating sports products and launching sports partnerships.
