Dru Ryder has responsibility for the brand communications of the Daily Mail – one of the country’s most iconic brands.  This includes the brand strategy, marketing and creative output across a range of different mediums, primarily including print and ATL. Through her time at DMG Media Dru has worked with fantastic creative and media agencies, to promote the brand role of the Daily Mail and has recently overseen the refocus of the brand, launching a new brand expression and creative strategy.  

"I think these awards are a fantastic way to celebrate how brands are creating strong identities through increasingly creative ideas and playing integral roles in consumer lives. These awards are so important  to the industry so that we learn from each other and reward the efforts of marketing teams that are pushing boundaries and thinking creatively to encourage more of that.  

I’m currently interested in brands that are using advertising to guide consumers in these times of uncertainty, whether that is fake news, social media or Brexit and injecting some clarity or direction."
