Media for Humankind is The Trade Desk’s first brand campaign. The Trade Desk was founded ten years ago, and in that time, very little has changed in the company’s overall mission and vision.
But while we haven’t changed, the environment we operate in has. Advertisers are currently in the middle of a tug-of-war. Many feel compelled to spend their advertising budget in the walled gardens, despite the constraints of these platforms.
It thus became imperative for us to articulate our voice, and the role we play in the market. The Trade Desk supports the open internet, an open marketplace of voices and ideas that are critical to economic and social development. We call this "Media for Humankind".
