Gail Horwood is the Chief Marketing Officer of Kellogg North America, where she oversees the brand-building and integrated-planning functions supporting omni-channel consumer experience. Gail’s unique background at the intersection of data, technology and creative inform her approach to evolving the marketing function. With responsibilities that include creative and agency management, media planning and buying, brand and packaging design, consumer affairs, social media, loyalty, shopper and retail activation, Gail and her team shape all aspects of the end-to-end consumer experience.
Prior to Kellogg, Gail was Vice President, Worldwide Digital Strategy, at Johnson & Johnson. In this role, she led digital transformation and was responsible for marketing capability development and acceleration, digital and social media, marketing technology and analytics, data, and e-commerce.
Gail has held executive creative, digital/e-commerce roles at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Time Inc., Conde Nast and Zagat Survey and was a founder and editor-in-chief of the award-winning food site, Epicurious.com. She has a B.A. in Art History from Colby College.
