Bart Buiring, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, Asia Pacific of Marriott International, Inc. oversees the consumer strategy for the company’s core hotel business, Marriott Bonvoy (the company’s loyalty program) and 24 brands across a growing portfolio of close to 1,000 hotels in 27 countries and territories. In this capacity, Bart provides leadership to the Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, Brand Management, Digital, Communications, Loyalty, Information Technology and Consumer Insights teams. Bart and his team is accountable for driving top line Rooms and Food & Beverage revenue across the portfolio in the region.
In his free time, Bart enjoys reading non-fiction books, socializing, dining, getting in tune with interior design trends and of course, traveling. He completed the Advance Management Program at Harvard Business School in late 2019.
